Cadillac won’t be using anymore push-rod V8s in their cars going forward. No more shared engines with the ‘Vette or truck lineup. Well, at least as far as the V8 is concerned.

Yup. As far as I know, any and all V8s that Cadillac (at least their sedans, I’m actually not 100% sure about the Escalade) uses going forward with their new vehicles will be DOHC based. Specifically because of that perception.
